The Details
Every Sunday morning we gather as a church family to unite in worship and encourage one another in faith. Anyone is welcome to attend these services and we truly love meeting new people and having new people join us. Our service begins at 10:30am each week and concludes by 11:30am. During our service we incorporate many things into our worship to encourage and grow one another's faith. These include scripture, song, teaching, prayer, reflection, communion and fellowship. Our service is also very casual so there is no need to dress up if you'd prefer not to. No matter your understanding or experience of worship, you are welcome at Northern Hills Church!
For summer 2022 we are joining services and sharing in some ministry with Hope Church which has been meeting since 2018 in Symons Valley. They are joining us at the theater this summer.
The Location
Our Sunday services are held at Landmark Cinemas Country Hills. All of the space we use is in the East hallway. We worship in Theater #16 and have kids classes in the party rooms and Theater #15. We have signs out on Sunday morning throughout the theater to help guide you.
The Kids
Our kids are very important at Northern Hills Church and are a big part of our community. We want all kids to come and worship with us and to be themselves and feel welcome. We also want parents to feel comfortable having their kids in worship with us and not be overly concerned with their levels of energy.
We have a kids classes each Sunday for those in who are aged 2 to 12. The kids all join our main service for our first 2 songs and then are dismissed to their classes before the sermon. Our "Up to Kindergarten" Class is located in Party Room # 2. Our Grades 1-6 Class is in theater #15. Please be sure to check your child in before the service begins. We also have an unsupervised nursery in Party Room # 1 for parents to use with their toddlers and babies. The service Livestream plays in the nursery so that parents don't miss out on the service. For youth in Grade 7 and above, we encourage their participation as volunteers and helpers each Sunday in the kids class, AV team, set-up team and music team.
