Christmas at Northern Hills Church
The Christmas season has begun at Northern Hills Church and we would love to have you join us in order to be encouraged and encourage others. We have weekly Online Advent Services for you to participate in, a "live" in-person Christmas Celebration Service on December 13th and an Online Christmas Eve Service on December 24th.
1) In-Person Christmas Celebration Service at Landmark Cinemas Country Hills on December 13th
Join us at 10am on December 13th for a Candlelight Christmas Celebration Service. Due to the increase in current Covid cases and provincial restrictions we will restrict attendance to 25% of capacity and will require registration in order to attend. We will also have certain safety protocol in place for those attending. When you arrive we will have a table set up with a welcome team at the entrance to the East hallway. Before you enter the hallway and our worship theater (#16) you will need to be checked off on our registration list as well as answer "no" to our question regarding covid symptoms. You can then grab your communion emblems (packaged and sealed) and a candle and then head into theater #16. Once inside we will have an usher to help you find an appropriate seat (at least 2 seats away from other households). Click the button below in order to attend. For those unable to attend we will have the service broadcast "LIVE" on YouTube beginning at 9:55am on December 13th.
2) Online Advent Services on YouTube on November 29th, December 6th and 20th
On the Sundays that we are meeting in person we will be Premiering our pre-recorded services on YouTube at 10am each Sunday. Join us from the comfort of your own living room to celebrate the birth of the Saviour of the world. Each service will include inspiring multimedia experiences, special music, Christmas carols, participatory readings and an encouraging message centered on the birth of Jesus.
3) Online Christmas Eve Service
As We are going to be putting together an inspiring and encouraging Christmas Eve Service to both watch and share with others. Join us on YouTube at your leisure on December 24th in order to be reminded of and centered on the birth of the Saviour of the world.
4) Small Group Opportunities
We currently have 3 small groups meeting virtually (through zoom). If you are in need of community we would love to have you join in. We have a Men's Group meeting Sunday mornings at 8am discussing fatherhood, a Women's Group meeting Thursday nights discussing Spiritual Disciplines and a couples group meeting Tuesday evenings.
